Our Beginnings
Sandman Sales Yard has roots that began in 1967 when Robert Parker Sr. Acquired his driver's license at 16 years old. He began driving a dump truck for his brother’s company.
In 1986, Robert Sr. began Sandman Sales Yard. He specialized in excavating lake sites and the sale of the materials to local construction companies, government agencies, builders, and homeowners.
Today, Sandman Sales Yard has grown into one of Toledo area’s largest supplier of building stone, topsoil, mulch, sand, and landscape products. We now have 3 locations, Airport Highway, Holland, Ohio; Sterns Road, Ottawa Lake, Michigan; and Perrysburg, Ohio.
